Rotary Sheeters	Sometimes call a "dead knife" these sheeters operate with a knife affixed to a rotating drum interacting with a knife fixed to the machine for cutting off the length. They are commonly used for a wide range of film and paper products.
Knife Sheeters	A knife or guillotine sheeter cuts the product with a single knife typically operating in a downward motion like a guillotine. They are much slower than a rotating knife sheeter but have niche applications such as certain films.
Cut Size Sheeters	These sheeters are used for format sheets into sizes such as 8.5" by 11" - 11" by 14" - or 11" by 17". They typically come with varying numbers of "pockets" designating the number of sizes the machine can produce.
Dual Rotary Sheeters	These sheeters have two rotation cylinders with knives affixed which rotate synchronous with each other producing higher speeds, better cut quality, and better tolerances.
