| Dusenbery model 815 MD lift out duplex slitter rewinder. Four zone programmable rewind tension through a Allen Bradley PLC. Rewind diameter with top riding rolls is 30” without top riding rolls is 36”. The maximum web width is 54”, but you could run a web as wide as 58”. 3” differential rewind shafts using core spacer tension control. Slitting is wrap shear cut, female knife shaft and dovetail mounted male knife holders. Can be changed to razor slitting if required. Cork covered pull rolls and idlers. Updated two motor DC drive system, manufactured by SSD, 30HP rewind drive and 15HP main drive. Control system is a Allen Bradley PLC to control machine functions, automatic rewind tension control and rewind mandrel slow down. Maximum speed of the 815 is 1500FPM. The unwind is a shaftless with pneumatic ram for chucking and upchucking. The unwind brake is air cooled. Automatic unwind tension control using a pair of load cells. Unwind chucks for 3” and 5” cores. This 815 was running production prior to removal. Benick will clean and inspect this machine and replace any parts we find worn out.
