Dusenbery model 815LR, Serial number 57128, new in the late 1980’s,was just repainted a year ago. The maximum web width is 62” and can run at speed of 1000 FPM. The rewind diameter with top riding rolls is 24”. Rewind cores can be either 3” or 6”. Winding is core space differential, four zone on 3” light weight aluminum rewind shafts. It has a 15 HP DC drive with a Lewellen slowdown drive on the rewind, the Lewellen controls have been upgraded to a new counter system. Shear cut is included with the Dusenbery, with a minimum slit width of 1”. Pull rolls and idlers are silicone coated for running pressure sensitive material, non PS material can also be run. There is a splice table between the unwind and rewind with pneumatic web clamps, 90 degree splice angle. The unwind can take a 40” unwind diameter roll. Automatic edge guiding is a Fife P-50, +/- 3” travel. Included are a pair of anti telescoping rolls mounted on the unwind. Unwind shaft is a 3” Tidland air expanding. |
